On 16 October 2026, Dr Joanna Kulesza, Assistant Professor at the Department of International Law and International Relations, Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Łódź, and Executive Director of the Centre for Research on the Application of International Law in Cyberspace "Lodz Cyber Hub", moderated a panel entitled "Threats That Never Sleep: Online Security as a Shared Responsibility".

The panellists were:

  • Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO),
  • Radosław Nielek, Director of NASK,
  • Adam Sawicki, Group Senior Vice President - Digital, TVN Warner Bros. Discovery,
  • Michał Gramatyka, Ministry of Digital Affairs,
  • Krzysztof Dąbrowski, Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF),
  • Mariusz Kaczmarek, Totalizator Sportowy.

The panellists discussed the role of the media in countering disinformation, the use of artificial intelligence, and cross-sector cooperation in cybersecurity. The starting point was the view that online security requires the engagement of public institutions, the private sector and the academic community.

It is worth noting that the University of Łódź is the first Polish higher education institution in the e-Skills initiative.

More information about the participation of the University of Łódź in EFNI is available here.

We thank the organisers and all panellists for a productive exchange of views.
