Zakończenie XII edycji Projektu mentorskiego UŁ

The ceremonial closing of the 12th edition of the University of Lodz Mentorshio Project was held on 12 June 2025. The meeting was the culmination of six months of work bringing together students and mentors in unique pairs for development, inspiration and shared challenges. There were plenty of emotional moments, memories and stories about how mentoring can change one's perspective – and often the direction – of one's professional and personal path. The final of the project was complemented by a speech by Bartosz Brzozowski, a member of the board of the Polskie Stowarzyszenia Marketingu SMB and, above all, the project mentor, who spoke about values, courage and conscious action.

During the event, dr hab. Radosław Olszewski, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, the University of Lodz Vice-Rector for Academic and External Relations paid tribute to the mentors – for their passion, support and heart put into the development of students. The mentee congratulated them on their courage, commitment and half-year journey full of inspiring meetings and discoveries.

The UniLodz Mentorship Project – a community that is growing

The mentorship project is carried out as part of the VIP Graduate Programme – a long-term strategy of the University of Lodz building bridges between the university and its graduates. The 12th edition is yet another proof of how strong and committed the community around the University of Lodz is. This year, the project involved 36 mentors and 61 students representing almost all faculties of the university.
Over the past 12 years, almost 450 students have benefited from mentoring and the number of mentors has exceeded one hundred – many of them return to the project every year to share their experience and inspire new generations.

What does the cooperation in mentorship pairs consist in?

The mentoring process began in January 2025 and ran until June. It was more than just regular meetings and meeting the schedule. It was six months of conversations, discoveries and mutual inspiration. Mentors – experienced professionals, graduates of the University of Lodz – opened the door to a world that had been only a theory for many students. Together, they looked at goals, searched for answers, refined ideas and disarmed doubts. It was a time when students of the University of Lodz could not only gain knowledge from experienced mentors but also gain something much more – the courage to ask questions, test ideas and look at their career path from a completely new perspective.

The 12th edition of the Mentorship Project is behind us, but the most important things are still there – relationships, inspirations and the will to go on!

See you in the 13th edition!
