Lodz Cyber Hub at interface Workshop: Chinese Cyber Campaigns Out Of Control?

11–12 May 2026 | Wissenschaftszentrum Bonn, Germany

Opublikowano: 11 May 2026

Lodz Cyber Hub Director dr Joanna Kulesza has been invited to participate in the expert workshop "Chinese Cyber Campaigns Out Of Control?" convened by the Berlin-based think tank interface on 11–12 May 2026 in Bonn, Germany.

The workshop is organised within the framework of interface's project "State Behavior of the People's Republic of China in Cyberspace," supported by the German Federal Foreign Office, and takes place under the umbrella of the Transatlantic Cyber Forum. It brings together a select group of researchers, policy experts, and practitioners to examine the scope, patterns, and governance implications of Chinese cyber operations.

Dr Kulesza contributes to discussions on attribution and advanced persistent threats (APTs), with a focus on the international law framework governing state responsibility for cyber operations — and the gap between technical attribution capacity and legally consequential political response.

The workshop is held in a closed expert format at the Wissenschaftszentrum Bonn, convened by Dr Sven Herpig, Lead Cybersecurity and Emerging Threats at interface.

Further information about the Transatlantic Cyber Forum and interface's cybersecurity research is available at www.interface-eu.org.
