The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) offers a unique traineeship programme aimed at young professionals seeking practical experience in the field of human rights and European Union law.

 

For our students actively engaged at the intersection of international law and cyberspace, a traineeship at the FRA is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an EU institution. They regularly participate in events held at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź, such as the conference we co-organised with the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights Scientific Committee Measuring Human Rights Performance. Identifying New Challenges for the Rule of Law, or the recent “Masterclass” with Dr. David Reichel on "Online Platforms and Artificial Intelligence: Protection of Fundamental Rights in EU Law".

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be nationals of EU Member States, EEA countries, EU candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine), or potential candidate countries (Kosovo)

  • Have completed a university degree no later than 1 September 2025, and within the past three years
