The fourth meeting of the Sino-European Expert Working Group on the Application of International Law in Cyberspace, hosted by the Centre for International and Strategic Studies (CISS) at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, brought together experts from Europe and China to exchange experiences and address the challenges associated with applying international law in cyberspace.
Organised in cooperation with the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS), the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), and Xiamen University, the event served as an important platform for discussions on cybersecurity regulation and international cooperation in this domain. Experts explored legal challenges in cyberspace, including state responsibility, international collaboration, and the feasibility of implementing effective regulatory frameworks across different regions.
The event contributed to strengthening international cooperation and fostering mutual understanding in the context of international law, representing a key step toward addressing global cybersecurity challenges more effectively.
